The K1 Challenger Racing Suit is a lightweight, professional one-piece racing suit designed for entry-level motorsport and racing applications. It features a clean black and white racing design with contrasting white side panels and shoulder detailing. The suit is manufactured from high-quality treated FR Cotton (Proban® Cotton) in a lightweight single-layer construction. It features a high racing collar, front zipper closure, adjustable waist belt and ergonomic shoulder construction for comfortable movement while driving.

Back Side

The back of the K1 Challenger Racing Suit is designed with a flexible upper-body construction to provide comfortable movement while driving. The 360-degree shoulder gussets allow the sleeves and shoulders to move naturally without excessive restriction. The flexible rear waist construction helps maintain a comfortable fit when seated in the racing position, while the boot-cut legs provide a practical fit over racing footwear.

Material Details

The suit is made from treated FR Cotton, also known as Proban® Cotton, rather than Nomex® or another inherently flame-resistant aramid fabric. The cotton fabric is chemically treated to provide flame resistance and is constructed as a lightweight single-layer racing suit. According to the manufacturer, the FR treatment can diminish over the lifetime of the garment with repeated washing, which is different from inherently flame-resistant Nomex® materials.

Racing Comfort & Mobility

The 360-degree shoulder gussets are one of the main features of the Challenger suit, providing greater freedom of movement through the shoulders and arms. The adjustable waist and collar closures allow the driver to achieve a secure fit, while the lightweight single-layer construction helps maintain comfort during racing.

Color Options & Custom Design

The K1 Challenger design can be produced in all colors and custom color combinations according to your preferred racing style. You can choose your own base color, contrast panels and piping. Custom driver names, racing numbers, sponsor logos, team branding and embroidery can also be added to create a personalized racing suit.

Sizes

Available in a wide range of sizes from youth sizes through adult sizes, including extended adult sizes up to 4XL. Custom sizing can also be requested for a more precise driver-specific fit.

The K1 Challenger style is suitable for dirt track racing, oval racing, Midgets, Quarter Midgets, Bandoleros, Sprint Cars, Legends, Thunder Roadsters, SCCA Solo, ProSolo, pit crews, race officials and mechanics where an SFI 3.2A/1-rated suit is permitted.
